Sapient Coach Natural Potions For Health
Maybe you remember from your childhood the famous "potions" that our parents, grandparents or relatives prepared as home remedies for any health conditions.  They used to go to their gardens and look for different fruits, leaves or roots to prepare some remedy for ingestion of unguent or apply it topically.  It was such an experience, sometimes an unpleasant one, due to the particular colors, flavors or odors of such remedies.  However, they were indeed effective and, the majority of them, safe.  Of course, there were some that only worked as a placebo, but anyway, you used to feel better after take them.  It was common to find these remedies in each household.

Some of these potions were used for could and flu.  Many others were use to treat headaches, menstrual cramps, and even gases.  There were even “miraculous” potions for chickenpox and mosquito bites.  Just to list a few:

  • Cod-liver oil with honey to treat cough
  • Anise tea to alleviate menstrual cramps or gases
  • Ginger tea with honey for colds, allergies, laryngitis and pharyngitis
  • "Mata de bruja" for ear aches
  • Pink honey for cold sores
  • Orange flower water for anxiety and depression
  • Aloe Vera gel for almost any condition
  • Many others

My favorite potion, one that I take every morning prior breakfast (and the reason why I began this blog), is the apple cider vinegar that helps with many conditions, helps to loose weight, and to maintain a good health state.  In addition, it tastes good.  This potion includes:
  • 0.5-1 oz. organic apple cider vinegar (“with the mother”), non pasteurized nor processed (Bragg)
  • 2 tablespoons of organic honey
  • 0.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 1 small lemon or 0.5 big one
  • 4-6 oz. of warm water

After you pour all the ingredients, stir well and take one tablespoon every morning.  The vinegar's flavor may be strong, but don't worry, it won't be acid for your stomach.  On the contrary, it helps to maintain pH, and you can take this potion every day.  If you can add some probiotics (good bacteria that help our gastrointestinal tract and support our immune system), it would be even better.

This potion is helpful for:
  • Heartburn
  • pH regulation
  • Immune system booster
  • Colds, allergies and flu
  • Helps to maintain good cholesterol and triglycerides levels
  • Helps to regulate glucose levels
  • Helps to control appetite

As above-mentioned, this is my experience with this potion.  I've been using it for years, and up to date, it had good results for me, and with no secondary effects.  If you would like to have more information of each of these ingredients, you can look for them in Google®, and confirm their uses and benefits supported by several natural health practitioners and scientific studies.  I hope you become another beneficiary of this potion.  Please, leave comments or add your own potions at the Comments section of this blog.
