We have entered into an era in which even baby boomers interact with mobile devices and high-end technologies, not to mention millennials who were born with their genetic codes already programmed for these technologies. Even my niece, less than one year old, uses an iPad. We enjoy technology. Or at least, marketing departments make us believe it is a high-priority need, and convince us to rush and get the latest gadget.
As of today, we have many technological gadgets around us. We have them at home, in our offices, automobiles, even as personal dressing accessories. Definitively we live in a technological era in which smart devices allow us to make collaborations, and to share personal or business data on social networks, such as Facebook®, Twitter®, LinkedIn®, Instagram®, and Google® to name a few. We also have the never ending clouds on our environment, such as Dropbox®, Box®, AmazonDrive®, GoogleDrive®, and Microsoft OneDrive®, among others.

Maybe you remember from your childhood the famous "potions" that our parents, grandparents or relatives prepared as home remedies for any health conditions. They used to go to their gardens and look for different fruits, leaves or roots to prepare some remedy for ingestion of unguent or apply it topically. It was such an experience, sometimes an unpleasant one, due to the particular colors, flavors or odors of such remedies. However, they were indeed effective and, the majority of them, safe. Of course, there were some that only worked as a placebo, but anyway, you used to feel better after take them. It was common to find these remedies in each household. Some of these potions were used for could and flu. Many others were use to treat headaches, menstrual cramps, and even gases. There were even “miraculous” potions for chickenpox and mosquito bites. Just to list a few: As we grow, we pass different phases through our lives. Some of these are more difficult than others. However, that's the way of life. It doesn't matter our social level, we always have happy, wonderful moments, as well as sad, uneasy, uncertain and/or disappointing ones. The important thing is: How do we overcome those experiences that provoke failure, fault, sad, and anxiety feelings? It's not an easy thing, but it is possible to overcome any negative situation or emotion that we are going through. It depends on our "tools", our psychological mechanisms, our knowledge, our abilities and assets. Mind states that we choose to have. Yes, I mean choose, because everything we do in life depends on the decisions we make. We decide to laugh or cry, being happy or being sad, to success or fail, to lie or to tell the truth, to love or to hate. In short, you make your own decisions based on what you want for yourself.
